Top Craigslist Toronto Vintage Finds This Week
After my post earlier this week on the 10 best places to find used furniture in Toronto, I thought I’d share some of the antique pieces I found on Craigslist Toronto this week, in case you were looking for similar items or just need some inspiration.
I got this idea from Emily Henderson’s blog (if you’re in Dallas and looking for some affordable - or free - decor pieces, check it out!).
Talk about a mix of vintage, rustic and mid-century modern styles. The hairpin legs sit low enough, making the coffee table not rest on the ground and gives it a contemporary look. This would also be an interesting addition to a living room,
This coffee table is in Espresso brown and has some black leather trimming, with dimensions 36 in. Long x 21 in. Wide - 16 in. High.
Calling all writers and/or collectors - this one is for you. It could be used or just placed as a decorative piece. Either way, this is a steal. Made in the Netherlands in 1968 and comes with the original carrying case. Has a mid-century look, portable and comes in the colour grey.
If you’re into vintage or organic styles, you’ll love this number. You can go with the worn and tired look or completely switch it up by giving it a fresh coat of paint and updating the handles. It has already been stripped and sanded and the casters have been polished so you won’t need to do a ton of work. Dimensions: 36.5”H x 45”W x 21”D.
These would be great way to upgrade your white dresser or credenza and give it a totally different look. $50 for all five. Distance between the holes: 1 3/4".
Just get this cleaned professionally and its as good as new and a great addition to a small apartment living room.Measures 63" x 38" x 40" .
With walnut frames and measures 21.5 in wide x 18 in. High
You can use this as a step ladder or turn it into a side table by your bed or sofa. It’d be perfect in a loft unit as a night stand or mini book shelf. I particularly love the old paint stains on it - gives it a more vintage and distressed look.
Snag these 24” high lamps (no shades) and polish them nicely for a new look.
These don’t work unfortunately but you can turn them into decorative pieces.
Gliding blue chair - gliding motion works perfectly. And very sturdy. White wood with blue print on cushions. Cushions can be snapped on/off to wash.
Perfect furniture for living room, bedroom or nursery.
Flower pattern chair - This comes in a pair and selling for $100 per chair.
Hope you got some ideas from these finds. If you live in Toronto and are interested, you should reach out to the sellers, meet up and negotiate pricing. Happy thrifting!
